What is AEGEE-Eindhoven?

AEGEE-Eindhoven is the European student association of Eindhoven. We are open to students from all different kinds of studies and nationalities. As an association we organize numerous parties, borrels and other local activities. However, since we are a European association we also organize activities and trips throughout the entire continent, the whole year long! This way you do not only make friends in Eindhoven, but you build a network of friends throughout the whole of Europe!

Upcoming Events

We travel.

As one of the largest student associations in Europe, AEGEE offers people the opportunity to visit other locals in over 160 cities all over the continent. We often travel to other locals where the members get to show us around. This way, you get the experience from a student’s perspective.

Be part of a European Network

AEGEE is one of Europe’s biggest interdisciplinary student organisations, striving for a democratic, diverse and borderless Europe. As a non-governmental, politically independent, and non-profit organisation, AEGEE is open to students and young people from all faculties and disciplines. Founded in 1985 in Paris, today AEGEE has grown to a Network of 13 000 AEGEEans, present in 161 cities in 40 countries all over Europe. Through our activities, we empower students and young people in Europe to take an active role in society. We create a space for dialogue and learning opportunities as well as act as their representative towards decision-makers. AEGEE strengthens mutual understanding among young Europeans and brings Europe closer to young people.

Stories from our members

Hi, everyone! My name is Geri, and I am a computer science student at the TU/e. I've decided to join AEGEE-Eindhoven because of the memorable After Intro activities. Some of them included a barbecue with the other members, a multi-course European dinner, and a European night where different countries were presented by traditional snacks and drinks. Also, I've had a blast during the Brussels exchange in the beginning of my first year. This was the time when I got to know the other members, and I really enjoyed their company, since they were extremely friendly, open-minded and funny. I even became part of the Intro Committee which is responsible for the representation of AEGEE-Eindhoven during the TU/e Intro week. This way I will be able to show my passion about our association to the new students. If you're looking for making connections with some awesome people then AEGEE-Eindhoven is the right place for you!

Hey everyone! I'm Denis and I'm a Computer Science student at the TU/e. I joined AEGEE at the start of my master, which was last September. It was the first week of the academic year and I stumbled upon a Facebook event organized by AEGEE. Even though I knew nothing about AEGEE back then, I decided to subscribe to the event.
I was impressed by how friendly everyone I talked to was such that I ended that event by filling in the registration form.
I know that AEGEE events were limited because of the pandemic this past year (still waiting for a traveling abroad event), but nonetheless being a member was worth it!
If you're thinking of joining AEGEE-Eindhoven, then stop thinking and just become a member!
Hope to see you in our next event!

Hi all! My name is Geert and I just finished my second year of Applied Physics here at the TU/e. Last year I joined AEGEE-Eindhoven and it was one of the best decisions I made!
It is such a great way to make friends from all over the place. I have met so many wonderful people this year! A lot of them during the many activities we do here in Eindhoven every Wednesday, but also during activities organized together with other locals. From celebrating Halloween with AEGEE-Nijmegen to dressing up as princess Peach for a Mario themed party with AEGEE-Groningen!
But what is most unique about AEGEE is that you will also meet people from all over Europe. This year alone I’ve been on exchanges to AEGEE-Brussels, Warsaw and the Canary Islands. It is such a great way to broaden my horizon, and if I ever decide to finish my study abroad I know that I already have a network of people at that university!
